History of the the Tournament
The Ivan Pretty Charity Scramble is held in remembrance of the founder, Ivan Pretty, who passed away in 2001. Mr. Pretty operated a number of businesses including Pretty’s Timber Ltd (originally developed by, his father, Charles Nelson Pretty), and developed Hemlock Valley Ski Resort, Snowcap Lumber, and Pretty Estates Resort.
Why Enter?
As a participant, you will receive one tournament green fee with a shared cart, a W/D practice round or comeback round (valid until June 30th, 2018), buffet dinner/ on course drink and hot dog ticket, tee gift, and there will be amazing prizes to be won!

Proceeds: Proceeds are going to help fund research at Stanford University for the illness, Amyloidosis, that shortened Ian’s life.

The tournament benefited Fraser House, a non-profit, charitable organization that provides non-residential counselling and prevention service for anyone with concerns around substance use, including youth and adults. Ivan’s Memorial Tournament 2015
The 13th Annual Ivan Pretty Charity Scramble will be held on August 31st, 2015. This year, the tournament will be benefitting Zajac Ranch, a provider of camps for children and young adults with chronic, life-threatening and/or debilitating conditions. These experiences give participants the opportunity to explore the outdoors while developing greater social and environmental awareness, increased self-confidence and positive growth in attitudes towards physical activity.
