12th Annual event, supporting the Mission Hospice Society

The Sandpiper Golf Course hosted its 12th Annual Ivan Pretty Charity Scramble last August. All of the proceeds were donated to building Mission Hospice Society’s Christine Morrision Center.

We raised $9,391.90!

In attendance were

  • Angel Elias, Executive Director of the

Mission Hospice Society

  • Betty Anne Faulkner, President of   Pretty Estates Resort

(home to Sandpiper Golf Course, Rowena’s Inn and
the Clubhouse Restaurant)

  • Ted Swaine, Director of Sales at Sandpiper Golf Course

On August 25th, Sandpiper Golf Course hosted its 12th Annual Ivan Pretty Charity Golf Tournament. Each year, Sandpiper chooses a different charitable initiative to support and donates 100% of its proceeds.

If you would like to make a direct donation to the our charity of choice and receive a tax receipt,
please visit the Mission Hospice website and click on the Canada Helps button.

“I have always respected hospice initiatives, recognizing that the services provided are essential to our local communities. Last year, the charity of choice was the Abbotsford Hospice Society’s Holmberg House. It was our honour to support the Mission Hospice Society this year,” says Ted Swaine.
